The monument of nature the Serebryanyy Bor (Silver Pinewood) is very popular place for relax and walking. It`s because in the City hard to find the ecologically clean place. But this park is placed on the north-west side of Moscow where there is no dirty factories. Also the water in the River isn`t dirty because here Moscow River enters in Moscow. Here is a fresh and clean wind what comes from north-west.
Here on the artificial peninsula very beautiful and Cozy Park. There is a Big pinery with nature trail. There are beaches where you can take a sunbath. There is a lake and backwaters. All island connected by the bridges. That why it’s very romantic place. The Serebryanyy Bor (Silver Pinewood) it`s one place in Moscow where is nude beach. Here you can find the 3 Shock Army`s memorial and the monument to the tank IS-2.
Creation history
The Park was founded in 1937 when was created the canal in the Moscow River. In this moment was created the peninsula Serebryanyy Bor (Silver Pinewood).
How to find
From metro station Oktyabrskoe pole (October field) go on the Narodnogo opolcheniya Street (People`s Militia Street) to the crossroad with prospect Marshala Zhukova (Marshal Zhukov Avenue). Turn right and to the bridge Khoroshevskoe over the canal Khoroshevskoe rectification. Go on the bridge to another side of the canal to the Serebryanyy Bor (Silver Pinewood).
