It is not a big park, but very popular park in the center of Moscow. It’s very young Park just 20 years old. The park is unique because all monuments are placing in open air. There are almost 1000 monuments in the park like from Soviet Union and also modern monuments.
Also the park is famous because there you can find the monuments to Joseph Stalin, Maxim Gorky, Vladimir Lenin and to many other famous Soviet’s politicians. The most famous monument in the park it is a monument to Felix Dzerzhinsky what was moved from Dzerzhinsky square where was KGB building.
Every day the park Muzeon becomes more and more famous. It’s becomes better and more interesting. There you can find something interesting for you and definitely will want come back here again and again.
Creation history
As museum the park was born in 1992 after the revolution and democratization many monuments were moved from the streets to the park next to Central House of Artists and were collected almost 1000 different monuments and sculptures of Soviet and modern times.
How to find
Go to metro station Park Kultury and exit to Krymsky passage street. Go to the Moscow river and cross it by the bridge. After the bridge turn left and goes to Central House of Artists. Pass the building from the right side and at the end of the building you will see entry to Muzeon Park of Arts.
