The sculptural composition - solar system

Description
There is a not big round area in the center of the Memorial Alley in honor of the Cosmonauts. On that area there is a sculptural composition - solar system. The solar system what was described by Nicolaus Copernicus in XVI century and destroyed the old idea of the structure of the universe.
In the center of the sculptural composition there is of course a sculpture of Sun but it is not simple sculpture but a sundial. There are nine sculptures of the planet around the sun. Each planet has individual relief. Between these planets you can feel yourself like an enormous alien in the small world.
Creation history
The sculptural composition was established in 2008 when the Memorial Alley in honor of the Cosmonauts was reconstructed.
How to find
Go to metro station VDNH and exit to the crossroad between the Prospect of Peace and the Ostankino passage and go it to the Memorial Alley in honor of the Cosmonauts. Walk on the Alley to the center of the alley. Here next to the monument to Sergei Korolev you will see the sculptural composition solar system.
