Sculpture tree of love

Description
At first sight the sculpture looks like a simple tree where through branches you can see a face of the girl. But if you will watch carefully than you will see that the trunk of the tree it is a body of this girl. She is standing arms extended. Her arms are turning to the branches.
On the other side of the sculpture you can see the face of young man. The sculpture is very symbolic. On the bottom part of the sculpture there is a inscription, simple word “Love”. In the same time the lovers are close to each other and are standing back to back but still watching on opposite directions. With arms extended they are trying to fly away. But love is binding them and giving a chance to look to eyes of each other and find out that you should not fly away.
Creation history
The sculpture was made in 2004 and established in the park Homestead Trubetskoys in Hamovniki.
How to find
Go to metro station Frunzenskaya and exit to the lane Kholzunova and turn left. On the lane Kholzunova go 200 meters till the entrance to the park. There in the park next to the entrance you will see the sculpture tree of love.
