Monument to Lenin in Kuybyshev Park - Balashov

Description
The monument to Vladimir Lenin it is a sculpture of the communist leader in full height. Vladimir Ilyich is standing and watching into distance. His left hand he is holding at the chest. In the right hand he is holding his famous cap.
The sculpture is placed on the high, pyramidal and many-tier pedestal. In the bottom part of the pedestal there is the dates of his life and memorial plate with his name and signature.
Around the monument there is a flower-bed and a decorative fence. On the square in front of the monument there is a fountain.
Creation history
The monument was established in 1935 in the central park of Balashov named in honor of Kuybyshev. Many years the monument was the main place of difference events. Next to the monument were invited in the pioneers, to the member of the Komsomol and were organized many meetings and celebrations.
How to find
From the railway station Balashov-1 by bus ¹ 3 go till the bus stop next to the Movie Theater “Victory”. Go to the park along the main alley toward the monument of Glory. At the entrance turn right and go till the fountain. Here from the left side of the fountain you will find the monument to Lenin.
