Monument to Coward, Fool, Pro and Leonid Gaidai in Irkutsk

Description
The monument to the famous trinity heroes of the Soviet comedy and their father it is a sculptural composition which consist of the five bronze sculptures. The famous and extravagant trinity is pictured in the scene of the comedy “Kidnapping, Caucasian Style” when they are catching Nina. They had blocked the road and didn`t let to go to the car which was driven by Nina who is tried to escape from their imprisonment. In front of the trinity on the chair is sitting Leonid Gaidai and with interesting is watching the scene. From the left side of Gaidai is standing other famous hero it is a dog “Barbos”. He is holding a stick in the mouth and attentively is looking on the trinity.
Creation history
The monument was established in the hometown of Leonid Gaidai Irkutsk in 2012 in honor of big love to the producer who made the great comedies and other movies. The monument was established on the square of the labour in front of the circus.
How to find
By buses 13, 14, 14B, 28, 31, 60, 8, 8Ý or trolleybus 3 go till the bus stop “Circus”. From the bus stop go on the square of labour toward the circus. In front of the main entrance of the building 12 Proletarskaya street after the fountain you will find the monument to Leonid Gaidai and his famous trinity.
