The Japanese gardenIf you are tired of the gray day and want to go somewhere where you have never been in Moscow you can find small piece of Japan. The Japanese garden placed in the big Botanical garden in the north part of Moscow.

The garden opened in 1987 year by Japanese Foundation and Memorial Association Expo-70 with the support of the Japanese Embassy. Small but very Cozy Park. There are more than 100 plants from Japan. There are small cascading waterfalls, ponds with islands. Also there are beautiful houses in the Japanese style.

Main sights of the park it’s famous Japanese cherry tree. The flowering of the Cherry tree every time very beautiful and exciting event. The Cherry tree starts to flower at the end of April, at the beginning of the May. The Cherry trees in flower only 3-4 weeks don’t miss this exciting time.

The Japanese garden

When you have visited the Japanese garden you will feel yourself relaxed and cheerful. Fans of the Japanese culture often organize costumed events.

How to find

Go to metro station Vladykino and exit to the entry of the Botanical garden. Go down the main avenue to the opposite side of the Botanical garden. There you will find the Japanese garden.
