Description
Very nice and symbolic sculptural composition “Eternal friendship” contains two small sculptures German boy and Russian girl. They wear in national costumes and have fun dancing. This sculptural composition is a symbol of the friendship between Krasnopresnensky district of Moscow and Bavarian community Denkendorf.
There is a memorial plaque where you can read a memorial inscription in two languages Russian and German. “Eternal friendship it is name of the sculptural composition of the famous sculptor Dmitry Ryabintsev and his son Alexander. It is symbol of the friendship and a co-operation between Krasnopresnensky district of Moscow and Bavarian community Denkendorf. Let these children will be a symbol of ours nations. 15 June 1989”.
Creation history
The composition was established in 1989 in the square next to the crossroad between 1905 Street and Shmitovskiy proezd street.
How to find
Go to metro station Ulitsa 1905 Goda (1905 Street) and exit backward Krasnopresnenskaya Zastava Square. Cross Krasnaya Presnya street and go forward on the square till the crossroad between 1905 Street and Shmitovskiy proezd street. Here next to the building Shmitovskiy proezd street 2 C1 you will find these nice children.
