During the walking on the Big Pokrovskaya street in Nizhny Novgorod you will meet goat. This goat is very happy and cunning goat is walking round the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theatre name M. Gorky. Very simple bronze sculpture of goat in real size and everybody who saw it were filled with joy.
Creation history
Sculpture of cheerful goat was established in 2005 on the Theatre Square between the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theatre name M. Gorky and Actors house like a symbol of festival of theatre’s humor.
Tradition
If you are sad you should stroke the goat or sit on its back and definitely your mood will rise and day will be more bright and happy.
How to find
By tram (routs 1, 1K, 2, 21) go to bus stop Big Pokrovskaya street. On the crossroad turn right and go to the theater square. On the right side the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theatre name M. Gorky (Big Pokrovskaya street b.13) in front of the monument to Nikolay Dobrolyubov you will find this funny goat.
