Description
Who is he, a majordomo or a doorkeeper? I think, he is the doorkeeper. We introduce you the original sculpture of the doorkeeper. He is an interesting and elegant man with big beard. He is dressed in a frock-coat of 19th century. He invites you to visit a restaurant and drink a glass of red wine.
Creation history
The sculpture was established in the period 2006-2007 on the Big Pokrovskaya street next to the building 38. The sculpture of the doorkeeper is part of the project to place on the Big Pokrovskaya street sculptures of people who lived in Nizhny Novgorod in the late 19th century.
How to find
By bus go to bus stop Gorky square (routes: 9, 26, 43, 45). On the Big Pokrovskaya street go to the north. After the crossroad with Small Pokrovskaya street go to the building 38. Here is the sculpture of the doorkeeper.
