Description
The sculpture of the romantic postman is bronze sculpture of young postman with his bike. He is standing because he has done his work and now he can stand and enjoy a nature. Maybe he is thinking about his lover girl because he received letter from her.
Creation history
The sculpture was established in 2006 next to the building of the Nizhny Novgorod post office (Big Pokrovskaya street b. 56). This sculpture is part of the project to place on the Big Pokrovskaya street sculptures of people who lived in Nizhny Novgorod in the late 19th century.
How to find
By bus go to bus stop Gorky Square (routes: 9, 26, 43, 45) and go on this street to north direction. On the crossroad with Small Pokrovskaya street next to the Nizhny Novgorod post office you will find the sculpture of romantic postman.
