Sculpture Friendship

Description
The monument Friendship consecrated to the centuries-old friendship between Russian and Ukrainian peoples and represents a sculptural composition. The sculptural composition consists of three sculptures of tall girls. The girls are standing back to back and dressed in simple long dresses till the floor. Over their head there is a nimbus which united them. Between the girls there are conventionalized trees which stretch to the nimbus.
Creation history
The sculpture was made by the sculptor Burganov Alexander in 2005 during the reconstruction of the Ukrainian boulevard.
How to find
Go to metro station Kiyevskaya (Filyovskaya Line) and exit to the Kiyevsky railway station. On the street cross the Street Square of the Kiyevsky railway station toward the shopping center “European”. Go around the center from the right side to the Big Dorogomilovskaya Street. Cross the road and turn left. Go about 80 meters till the Ukrainian boulevard and at the building no 8a turn right and go on the boulevard toward the pedestrian zone of the boulevard. There on the beginning of the pedestrian zone you will find the sculpture Friendship.
