Polovets stone idol

Description
The Polovets stone idol is gravestone above the Barrow Polovets Kuma. The sculpture shows us a figure of the woman.
Creation history
This monument was found on the grave-mound of Polovets Kuma. It was made in XI-XII centuries. From the Turkic languages a word Baba is translated as father.
How to find
Go to metro station Kolomenskoye and exit to the Andropov avenue. Go to the south on this avenue till the building № 39. Here is the central entry to the Kolomenskoye. After that go to the sovereign yard and go into the yard. Choose right path and pass the pillar chapel after that pass the Garden gate and house of Peter the Great. There turn left and next to the oaks you will find the Polovets stone idol.
