Description
There is a big bronze coin on the pedestal from granite. But, it’s not a coin it is a plan of the Stock exchange in the Saint Petersburg. It’s a relief plan of the famous square on the spit of Vasilyevsky Island with names all the architectural constructions of the XVIII century.
Creation history
The memorial sign was established in 2003 in honor the unique architectural ensemble of the Stock exchange in the Saint Petersburg on the day of the 300th anniversary of the city.
How to find
Go to metro station Sportivnaya (Sports station) and exit to Dobrolubova avenue. On the avenue go till the crossroad with the Mytninskaya embankment. Through the Academician Likhachev square go on the Birzhevoy Bridge (Exchange Bridge). Cross the Malaya Neva (distributary of Neva River) and after the bridge on the Makarov Embankment turn left and go till the Stock exchange in the Saint Petersburg. Here in the square you will find this bronze plan.
