Description
The monument to the photographer it is the bronze sculpture of the photographer of the end of the 19th century. The man is dressed in a classic suit, raincoat, and bowler hat of the photographer. He is standing and holding an umbrella in one hand and other hand his is opening the camera lens. Under the camera from the rain is hiding the bulldog and with interest is watching the photography.
Creation history
The monument was established in 2003 on the Small Garden street next to the building №3. It was established in honor of the founder of the famous photo studio in Saint Petersburg Karl Bulla. He founded the first photo studio in Russia on Small Garden street 3 in Saint Petersburg.

Go to metro station Gostiny Dvor (Merchant Yard) and exit to Garden street. Cross Nevsky Prospect (Nevsky Avenue) and turn right. Cross Garden street and on the Nevsky Avenue go till the crossroad with Small Garden street and turn left and go till the building №3. Here you will see this interesting monument.
