Many people say the monument was established in honor of the elks which has lived on the Krylatskoye Hills.
How to find
From the metro station Krylatskoye go on the Osenniy (Autumn) boulevard toward the north pass the Monument to the heroes of Moscow Anti-aircraft warfare in the Second World War. On the crossroad with Krylatskoye Hills street turn right. Go till the building 49 where you will see the monument to the elk.
