A taste! It is very difficult thing and it’s not so easy to create a monument to it. Everyone has his own taste. That why it’s impossible to create the monument what will likes to everyone. In Nizhny Novgorod there is a monument the spoon of taste. The monument looks fun; it is a big spoon with an olive. The monument has unusual pedestal. Big cylindrical pedestal under the spoon. Around the pedestal there are cylindrical pedestals, on these pedestals there are tools for creation of taste: knives, forks, spoons, skimmers and so on.
Creation history
The monument was established in 2003 during the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. It was Manufacturer’s of mayonnaise idea, maybe that why the olive on the monument. Guests of Fair also joined to creation this monument. The monument was placed in the yard of the faculty of philology of the University of Lobachevsky. Big Pokrovskaya street b. 37.
How to find
By bus go to bus stop Gorky square (routes: 9, 26, 43, 45). On the Big Pokrovskaya street go to the north. After the crossroad with Small Pokrovskaya street go to the building 37. Here in the yard you will find the monument The spoon of taste.
