Description
The monument to the famous Russian writer Maxim Gorky was created from the bronze. Maxim Gorky is sitting and enjoyed a beautiful view of the two rivers Volga and Oka.
Creation history
From the beginning on the embankment Fedorovsky was planned to establish another monument to Maxim Gorky project by Vera Mukhina. But on the exhibition in Moscow was decided to place the monument project by Shmagun I. and in 1972 the monument to Maxim Gorky was established on the embankment Fedorovsky.
How to find
By bus go to bus stop Rozhdestvenskaya street (routes: 9, 26, 43, 45). After that go on the top the hill. Next to the hotel turn left and cross a bridge and you on the embankment Fedorovsky. Here on the square next to the building 8 you will see the monument to Maxim Gorky.
