Monument to the Alpinists

Description
The monument to the alpinists it is two bronze sculptures of the man and the woman. They are pictured in the moment of the conquest of the peak. The pedestal is made from the stone and looks like a part of the mountain on which they are going.
Creation history
The monument was established in 80th. And it should not be surprise because in Russia there are a lot of different mountains. From the flat mountainside to the high Caucasian mountains and Kamchatsky volcanos.
How to find
Go to the metro station Sportivnaya (Sports station) and exit to the Street Hamovnichesky Val. Cross the Street Hamovnichesky Val toward the Olympic complex Luzhniki. Go to the sport complex through the main entrance. From the main entrance, you will see the monument to Lenin next to the main arena and go along the main alley toward the football arena toward to the monument to Lenin. In front of the monument to Lenin turn left and go along the alley till the square next to the swimming pool where you will find this monument to the Alpinists.
