Description
The monument to the symbol and the talisman of the newspaper “Argumenty i Fakty” it is a bronze sculpture of small dog which is sitting on the back pads and holding a newspaper in the fall the newspaper. Small sculpture was placed on the granite pedestal which looks like a column.
Creation history
In the 90s on the TV was shown a promotional video where the main character was a small dog when it went to the shop to bay the newspaper AiF. This dog immediately become a favorite and talisman of the newspaper and got a name AiFka. After approximately 20 years in 2013 in the yard of the pressroom of the publishing house was established small monument to the lovely talisman of the readers and workers of the newspaper AiF.
Tradition
From the beginning the monument was occurred a kind tradition. If you touch this small dog then this dog will bring you luck.
How to find
Go to metro station Chistue prudy (Clean Ponds) and exit to the crossroad between Chistoprudniy Boulevard and Myasnitskaya Street next to the building 30/1b1. Here along the Myasnitskaya Street go toward the north around 400 meters till the building Myasnitskaya Street bld. 42 where you will find this lovely monument to the dog AiFka.
