Monument to steam locomotive - Balashov

Description
After a heroic life the steam locomotive 9P 23534 wasn`t utilized but continue the live like a monument. The steam locomotive was placed on the pedestal which looks like a railway track. And now it looks like the locomotive right now will start and rush to distant and white cloud of smoke will go from the funnel.
Creation history
The monument was established in August 1994 in honor of 100th anniversary of Balashov rail yard, about what you can read in the gold plate on the railroad engineer cab. The monument was established next to the office building of Balashov rail yard.
How to find
From the railway station Balashov-1 you should go along Friedrich Engels Street about the five hundred meters till the rail yard where in front of the office building and next to the monument to the railwaymen you will find the monument to steam locomotive.
