Description
The monument to security guard it is a sculpture of the guard who is sleeping on the chair at the entrance of the shopping center. After long day he has sat on the chair to give the rest to his tired legs. He is sitting and settling back on wall, put his arms on the stomach and put his left leg over right. Behind him there is a rubber truncheon on the chair.
Creation history
The monument which was created by the sculptor Kirilov Vadim was established in 2007 in the shopping center on Nikolskaya Street. In 2013 when Nikolskaya Street was made pedestrian, the monument was moved outside and placed at the entrance to the shopping center.
How to find
Go the metro station Lubyanka and exit to Lubyanka square toward Nikolskaya Street. Along Nikolskaya Street go till the shopping center (Nikolskaya Street bld. 10). Here you will find the monument to security guard.
