Monument to Nikolai Semashko

Description
A monument – a bust of Nikolai Semashko was made from one piece big granite stone. The bust of the doctor incorporated with the pedestal. There is a memorial inscription on the pedestal: “Nikolai Aleksandrovich Semashko. The first The People`s Commissar of Health of Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR)”.
Creation history
The monument was made by the sculptor Tazba Leonid Vladimirovich and architect Novikov Felix Arnoldovich and established in 1982 in front of the building of the clinical center named after Sechenov I.M.
How to find
Go to metro station Frunzenskaya and exit to the lane Kholzunova and turn right. Go till the Komsomolsky prospect and again turn right and go till the street Trubetskaya and third time turn right on this street. On the street Trubetskaya go till the Street Big Pirogovskaya. Cross this street and you are next to the building 2/4. Turn left and go till the center of the building where you should turn right to the inner yard where in front of the entrance to the administrative building of the clinical center you will see this monument to Nikolai Semashko.
