Description
A monument to Vladimir Ilyich Lenin in Luzhniki it is a big sculpture of the leader of the people which is located on big and heavy pedestal. Vladimir Ilyich is standing and watching to the bright future. On his shoulders is lying a coat which he is holding by the hand. By the left hand he is holding his favorite a cap.
Creation history
The monument was established 1960 in front of the main entrance to the Olympic complex Luzhniki through four years when was built this complex.
How to find
Go to metro station Sportivnaya (Sports station) and exit to the Street Hamovnichesky Val. Cross the Street Hamovnichesky Val toward the Olympic complex Luzhniki. Go to the sport complex through the main entrance. From the main entrance you will see the monument to Lenin next to the main arena and just go on the main alley toward the football arena closer to the monument.( Luzhnetskaya embankment bld.24 /1).
