Description

Monument to inhabitants of Lublino who were killed in the Second World WarThe monument to inhabitants of Lublino district of Moscow who were killed in the Second World War consists of three triangular steles around granite plate. There is a memorial inscription on the plate: “An imperishable memory of the heroes”. The steles are coated by the red granite tiles and are personifying a flags above the grave in honor of the inhabitants of Lublino who had protected the motherland. Behind the steles there is a wide and low stele with the names of the defenders of motherland.

Creation history

The monument was established in front of the Palace of Culture named in honor of a pilot, hero of Soviet Union I.M. Astahov.

How to find

Go to metro station Bratislavskaya and exit forward. On the Pererva Street go till the Big Shopping center at the crossroad with Lublinskaya Street and turn right. Go till the crossroad with Verhnie polya Street and cross the Verhnie polya Street and right there in front of the Palace of Culture (Lublinskaya Street bld. 149) you will see the monument to inhabitants of Lublino who were killed in the Second World War.
