Description
The monument to the prince Daniel of Moscow it is a sculpture of Daniel in full-length. He is dressed in expensive princely clothes. The sculpture is placed on the cylindrical pedestal. It’s decorated with ornaments. Also there is a memorial inscription on the pedestal. “The Saint, the Blessed, the Great Prince Daniel of Moscow 1261 – 1303.
Creation history
The monument was established in 1997 on the Square Serpukhov outpost in the year of the celebration of 850th anniversary of Moscow.
How to find
Go to metro station Tulskaya and exit backward to the Square Serpukhov outpost. Cross the crossroad between Big Tulskaya street and Danilovsky shaft Street. Here on the square you will find the monument to Daniel of Moscow.
