Monument to Arkady Gaidar

Description
A monument to the famous Soviet writer of the children`s books Arkady Gaidar it is a bronze sculptural composition what contains three sculpture on the small granite pedestal.
Arkady Gaidar is standing and talking with two Pioneers. A girl is dressed in light dress. Arkady Petrovich is dressed in military uniform. Third sculpture it is a boy. On his head there is a hat “Budenovka”. He is holding a horn and telling to Arkady and to the girl something interesting.
Creation history
The monument was established in 1983 on the territory of the Pioneers Palace named after A.P. Gaidar.
How to find
Go to metro station Volzhskaya and exit backward to the Lyublinskiy park. Along the lake go toward the Malyshev street. Next to this street you will find the Pioneers Palace named after A.P. Gaidar. Here on the territory of the Pioneers Palace you will see the monument to Arkady Gaidar.
