Monument in memory of the war in 1812

Description
The monument in memory of the war in 1812 is a short, rectangular stele from the white granite with wide top part. On the top part of the stele there are bas-reliefs of the writer and the poet Pisarev Alexander Alexandrovich and of the Field Marshal of the Russian Empire Kutuzov Mikhail Illarionovich. Also on the stele there are memorial inscriptions: “In honor of the heroic ancestors – To the warriors of Russian army, the militiamen, the partisans who fought on “Gorki” land near “Pahra” river in the autumn 1812” and “In honor of the faithful sons of Russia and in memory of 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812 from the grateful descendants. September 2012”. From two sides of the monument to the monument leads the stairs. Around the monument there is a flowerbed.
Creation history
The monument in memory of the war 1812 was established on the alley in in honor of 60th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War in the town Gorki Leninskiye in 2012. The monument was made by the sculptor Demchenko Vladimir.
How to find
From Moscow you can go to Gorki Leninskiye by bus 439. For this you should go to metro station Domodedovskaya. By bus go to Gorki Leninskiye about 20 minutes. In Gorki Leninskiye you should exit on the bus stop “Experimental Base”. From the bus stop go between the buildings 88 and 91 to the street Sadovaya (Garden street). After the building 91 turn right and go till the crossroad after the building 89. Here, turn left and go along the Sadovaya street till the crossroad with Severnuy lane (North lane). Cross the Severnuy lane and you are on the alley in honor of 60th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Turn left and go to the center of the alley where you will find the monument in memory of the war in 1812.
