Description
The monument in honor of defenders of the motherland in Avdotyino looks very simple, but you can’t pass it without strong feelings of the pride and sorrow of our grandfathers who were killed during Second World War.
The monument is a memorial stele with names of the heroes of Second World War with the star on the top of it. Next to the stele there is a sculpture of a soldier who is sitting on one knee saluting defenders of the motherland. In the hand he is holding a Victory Banner. In front of the solder there is a helmet of Soviet Union soldier. There is a flower-bed looks like a star.
Creation history
The monument was established in village Avdotyino in honor of the citizens of the village who were killed during the Second World War.
How to find
If you are going to go to Noginsk from Moscow you should start from Kursky railway station (Gorkovskoye direction of Moscow Railways). By the Electric multiple unit go till station Noginsk. From the station go to the bus station next to the railway station. The take the bus ¹22 and go by bus till the village Avdotyino. Then go toward the monastery Voskresenskoe (Avdotyino) Nicholas Berlyukovskaya deserts. And on the way to monastery from left you will find this sorrowful and grand monument in honor to our great grandfathers who gave us our present.
