Monument to the heroes of the Volga Flotilla

Description
The monument to the heroes of the Volga Flotilla it is a sculptural composition contains three big sculptures of seamen. They confidently are marching towards the enemy. In a row are marching experienced seaman, seaman, and novice cabin boy. On the steles next to monument there is a memorial inscription: “Honor the memory of the October fighters. We give an oath to follow in their footsteps and imitating their immortality and heroism. Vladimir Lenin”.
Creation history
The monument decided established on the day 60th anniversary of the Great October Revolution. In 1997 the monument was established on the Square Markin, he was a Commissioner of the flotilla and in 1918 he was killed during the Great October Revolution.

By bus go to bus stop the River Station (routes: 3, 5, 9, 19, 38, 45, 52, 61, 90). Here on the square Markin in front of the River Station you will find the monument to the heroes of the Volga Flotilla.
