Description
A monument – the revival it is a sculptural composition which was made from Jerusalem stone and bronze. The main element of the monument it is a bronze figure of the Archangel Michael. He is fighting with the evil which is shown as big snake.
The Archangel Michael is protecting a fragile sprout of the emerging new life. The sprout with great difficulty is laying for him a route through the hard stone. According to the sculptor`s idea the sprout is a symbol of the newborn Russia and good changing.
Creation history
In 2000 the monument – the revival was established on the territory of the Morozov estate who were an industrialist and a Maecenas at the beginning of XX century.
How to find
Go to metro station Tretyakovskaya and exit to Klimentovskiy lane. On the street turn left and one minute go toward the Big Ordunka street. Here turn left and on the Big Ordunka street and go till the estate Morozov (bld. 41) where in the yard you will see the monument – the revival.
