Memorial sign - 45 mm anti-tank gun

Description
The memorial sign – 45-mm anti-tank gun, it is real gun model 1937. It was placed on not high and white pedestal. There is a beautiful flower-bed around the monument. There are three granite plates on the pedestal. On the front plate is written: "Memorial sign had established in honor of the heroism and dedication of the older generation of Taganka district and 65th anniversary of the battle at the Moscow 1941 – 1942". On the plate from the left side is written a technical parameters of this gun: "The 45 mm anti-tank gun model 1937. Weight combat is 825 kg. Maximum firing range 4500 m. Rate of fire 20-25 rpm. Used in the defensive stock at Moscow in 1941 - 1942". And on the third plate from the right side is written: "45-mm anti-tank gun was found during the preconceptual study by the military-patriotic association "Capital" with support from Military Memorial Management Ministry of Defence on the battlefield of Moscow people`s militia".
Creation history
The monument was established in 2006 in year of 65-th anniversary of the battle for the Moscow and in honor of the heroism of the citizens of Taganka district who had defended Moscow from Germany Nazi.
How to find
Go to metro station Proletarskaya and exit to Krestyanskaya Zastava Square. Cross the Abelmanovskaya Street to the entrance to the small square where at the sculpture "Worker" turn right and behind the honours board you will find the memorial sign – 45 mm anti-tank gun.
