Memorial, mass grave in Kolubakino

Description
The memorial, mass grave it is a military cemetery of the Soviet soldiers who were killed during the battle for the village Kolubakino. There is monument to the soldier in the center of the memorial. He is standing at the grave. In the left hand he is holding the helmet. He is saluting to killed defenders of the motherland. In front of the monument there is a low but wide stele with plates where are written the names of killed Soviet soldiers.
Next to the monument there is a high stele with the Order of the Patriotic War on it. There is a Hammer and sickle on the top of the stele. Behind the monument there is another stele from the bricks. There are also plates with the names of the soldiers who were killed during the war. From the left and right side on the stele you can see the years of the beginning and end of the Great Patriotic war 1941-1945. Between the years in the center of the stele there is a red star.
Creation history
The memorial, mass grave was founded in 1942 in the village Kolubakino. Here were buried Soviet soldiers who were killed during the liberation of this village in 1941.
How to find
From the Belorussky railway station by the Electric multiple unit train go till the railway station Tuchkovo. From the railway station take a bus 21 and go to the village Kolubakino and exit of the bus stop “Factury”. Cross the road and in 40 meters from the road you will find the Memorial, mass grave in Kolubakino.
