Description
The memorial in honor of the soldiers of 144th rifle division and countrymen who were killed during the Second World War contains the four steles and a monument in the center. There are memorial inscriptions and names of the soldiers of 144th rifle division and countrymen - the defenders of motherland.
The monument it is two sculptures of the soldier and the nurse on a big pedestal. They are standing at the soldier`s grave and put a wreath on it. The soldier is putting the wreath and the girl is holding the Victory banner.
Creation history
The memorial was established on 22 June 2009 in the village Karinskoe of Odintsovsky District in year of 68th anniversary the beginning of the Great Patriotic War on 22 June 1941, when violent Nazi aggressors attacked the Cities of USSR.
How to find
In Moscow from the metro station Tushinskaya take a bus 445 and go to the village Karinskoe. It`s take approximately an hour. Exit on the bus stop Karinskoe, cross the road and you are at the Memorial in honor of the soldiers of 144th rifle division and countrymen who were killed during the Second World War.
