In honor of lost defenders of the Fatherland - Losino-Petrovsky

Description
A memorial “In honor of lost defenders of the Fatherland” in the town Losino-Petrovsky it is hollow sphere which is a symbol of the Earth. The sphere has the holes which are the symbol of the ulcer of the Second World War what has poisoned the body of the world. On the inner surface of the sphere there is a memorial inscription: “The world, you shall remember, that the safe peace is an eternal peace, life peace”. Above the inscription there is a picture of the Ribbon of Saint George and from the right and left side of the inscription there are date of the Great patriotic War 1941-1945. On the outer surface of the sphere there is a star.
The sphere was installed on the round pedestal but not exact on the center. The pedestal itself is a flowerbed. Along the perimeter of the pedestal there are memorial plates with the names of lost defenders of the Fatherland during the Great Patriotic War who were the citizens of Losino-Petrovsky. In front of the sphere on the pedestal there is a memorial plate with inscription: “In honor of lost defenders of the Fatherland from thankful descendants”.
Creation history
The memorial was established in the town Losino-Petrovsky in the park next to the crossroad of the streets Nagornaya and Lenin in honor of the citizens of the town who were killed in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.
How to find
By the buses 26, 30, 32, 362, and 38 go to the bus stop Runok (Market). When you will go out from the bus you will see the park where in the center you will see the memorial in honor of lost defenders of the Fatherland.
