The monument - Kind Angel of Peace

Description
The monument – Kind Angel of Peace it isn’t simple monument but big architectural and park complex. The area of the monument is more than 1.500 square meters. It is a symbol of the peace and memory in honor of the Maecenas of the 20th century.
If you will look on the monument from above you can see that monument looks like a cross. There is an eight-pointed star, the symbol of the Maecenas in the center of the cross. And there is a column in the center of the star. There is a gold sculpture of the angel on top of the column. He holds a pigeon. There are plates with the memorial inscriptions in the bottom of the column.
There are 100 plates with the names of the Maecenas on the big base of the monument. Along the alleys there are trees grow. In the sunny day the monument looks especially beautiful.
Creation history
The monument was established in 2007 in the park 850th anniversary of Moscow in honor of the kindness and selfless causes of people and immortalizing the names the best Maecenas of the 20th century.
How to find
Go to metro station Maryino and exit forward Lublinskaya street. From the left side you can see the church. On this street go to the park 850th anniversary of Moscow on the embankment Moscow River. In the park turn left and go along the river almost till the end of the park. After under construction shopping center you will find this bright monument to the kindness.
