Monument to soldiers-communication workers

Description
The first monument to soldiers-communication workers in Russia looks like a Military Insignia of the communication troops. There is a star in the center of the monument. From the star go lightning. From the right and left side of the star there are wings like a symbol of progress of the communication troops from a homing pigeons to a modern satellite communications. All these things are placed in granite ring.
The monument is placed on the small pedestal with memorial inscription, “Eternal memory to the soldiers-communication workers, who were killed in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”. The monument is surrounded with granite thumbs.
Creation history
The monument was established in 2005 in year of celebration of 60-th anniversary of the victory over Nazis aggressors in 1941-1945. Mozhaysk was chosen because here in 1941 were very hard fighting against Nazis.
How to find
By bus go to bus stop House of culture. Cross the Red partisan (Krasnuh partisan) street and on the square next to the building ¹9A you will see this monument in honor of the necessary and important army.
