Oceanarium in Altufyevo

The biggest Oceanarium in Moscow is located on the north part of the city and contains eight zones, beginning a polar zone and till the Tropics. Here you can admire the representative of the sea animals and flora from different part of the planet, which you could watch just on the TV.
Beside the sea animals in the oceanarium you can see the land animal, birds and bats. Each zone has individually decoration according to the theme of the zone and you can immerse and feel yourself in the forest, in the sea next to the dangerous sharks.
This oceanarium is the first oceanarium in Moscow. A visit it will be interesting for everybody, like for the adults as for the children because here you can see arapaima, the skates, sea dogs and sharks.
Creation history
The oceanarium was established in 2011 in the shopping center RIO in the Altufyevsky district.
How to find
Go to the metro station Altufyevo and exit to the Cherepovetskaya street. On the bus stop in front of the building №17 take a free bus to the shopping center RIO or buses 644, 685, 836, 545, 456 till the bus stop Runok (Market). Go in the shopping center where on the -1 floor you will find the oceanarium.
