Despite the rapid development of computer games and game machines in the adult’s hearts that were born in 70th and 80th there still lives a bright memory of the first Soviet arcade machines. Unfortunately when Soviet Union was destroyed production of the arcade machine was stopped. But people still remember those bright moments of the games. So, after many years in Moscow was opened very good Museum of Soviet arcade machines.

The first thing that you will see next to the museum it is an old Soviet blue car with name of the museum on the door. Inside the museum when you just come in you will see also an old telephone booth from Soviet’s times. After that from you left you will see reception, where you can buy tickets and coins for arcade machines. In front of the reception there are three old machines with soda what were very popular in the past, but impossible to find it nowadays.

There are many different game machines in the museum. Eighty percent of these old machines are working and you could enjoy the games and you may recall your childhood. Adult could recall their childhood and children could touch history and see how their parents lived when they were children.

Creation history

The museum was opened in 2007 by small group of enthusiasts. During long time they had searched these machines and gave them second life.

Go to metro station Baumanskaya and exit to Baumanskaya street. Turn right and go on this street around 5-7 minutes till the Baumanskaya street bld.11. You are reached this very interesting museum.
