In the shop “Detsky mir” (Children`s world) you can find very interesting museum of childhood. The museum has big collection of the exhibits; it is more than 1000 toys. Mostly, the collection consists of the toys which were made in 80th. Every day in the museum is carried interactive show which leads by Teddy bear. This toy-bear was manufactured in 1957, when the “Detsky mir” was opened. If you have old toys, you can bring them to the museum and they will take its rightful place among the exhibits. Have a nice journey to the childhood world.
Creation history
The museum was opened in 2015 in the shop “Detsky mir” in the same time when the shop was opened after long restoration.
How to find
Go the metro station Lubyanka and exit to Lubyanka square to the shop “Detsky mir” (Teatralnuy lane bld. 5). In “Detsky mir” go on the last 7th floor where next to the exit to the viewing platform you will find a door to the childhood world.
