Memorial sign on the place of the church of St. John the Warrior

Description
A Memorial sign on the place of the church of St. John the Warrior it is a metal arch on the footpath. There is a church dome with an Orthodox cross.
There are two plates with the memorial inscriptions on the arch, “Earlier here was Bozhedomsky Exaltation Monastery what know since XVII century. In XVIII was reorganized to Parish church.” And “This place was sanctified by the church of St. John the Warrior with other name, Exaltation of the Cross on the old squalid homes (Old Bozhedomka street and now Durov street bld. 3/13). From the documents the church known since 1635 and was destroyed in 1930”.
Creation history
A memorial sign/arch was established in honor of the church of St. John the Warrior what was destroyed in 1930. The memorial sign was placed in the inner yard of the building 3/13 on the Durov street.
How to find
Go to metro station Dostoevskaya and exit to the Theater of Soviet Army. Go to the park on the Suvorov square, pass the monument to Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov. Go through the Suvorov square. After the square go on the Durov street till the building Suvorov square 2b3. Here go to the inner yard of this building turn right and go till the building 3/13 of Durov street. Here next to the entrance to the Catherine`s Park you will find the Memorial sign on the place of the church of St. John the Warrior.
