Description
The obelisk - In honor of killed defenders in the battles for our Motherland in the town Losino-Petrovsky it is low obelisk from brown granite with wide bottom part. On the top part of the obelisk there is an image of the Order of the Patriotic War. On the front side of the bottom part of the obelisk there is a memorial inscription: “In your honor the defenders who were killed in the battles for our Motherland in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. Grateful citizens of the town Losino-Petrovsky”. On the back side of the bottom part of the obelisk there is another memorial inscription: “People will never forget you – with who won the mortal combat against the fascism… Your immortal feat like life… People will infinitely owe…”. The obelisk was put on three-level platform – flower-bed. Around the obelisk there is short fence.
Creation history
The obelisk was established in Small Square between the streets Suvorovskaya and Kirova.
How to find
By the buses 26, 30, 32, 362, and 38 go to the bus stop Grocer`s. Along the street Lenin go to south till the crossroad with Suvorovskaya street. Cross the street Suvorovskaya and turn right and go in the square. In the square go to the center and there you will find the obelisk – in honor of killed defenders in the battles for our Motherland.
